Here I am on the UW quad! (Click on the picture above to learn more about the Honors Program and students' final portfolios)

I am a graduating senior at the University of Washington. An aspiring attorney and entrepreneur, I pursued a major in Law, Societies, and Justice with a concentration in Comparative Legal Systems and minors in Entrepreneurship and Human Rights. This website is my final portfolio for the UW Interdisciplinary Honors Program and it contains a snapshot of the work that I have done during my undergraduate years.

I have wanted to become a lawyer since I was a teenager. In high school and college, I interned with Life After Innocence (LAI), a legal clinic at Loyola University Chicago School of Law that helped wrongfully convicted individuals re-enter society and reclaim their lives post-exoneration. Working with the lawyers, law students, and clients at LAI inspired me to pursue a legal career. With this goal in mind, one of the main reasons I chose to attend UW was its Law, Societies, and Justice (LSJ) major, which would allow me to begin studying law as an undergraduate.

Even though I came to UW knowing what I wanted to study, I found that there was so much more to explore as I pursued my degree. In addition to my LSJ major, I stumbled upon new activities and programs that became key parts of my UW experience, such as my minor in Entrepreneurship, my involvement in student government, and my research in international human rights law. Likewise, through the Interdisciplinary Honors Program, I had the opportunity to take courses in a variety of fields and to collaborate with students across departments. These experiences allowed me to build off of my work with LAI and to explore the ways that law, social justice, and entrepreneurship intersect. The sections in this website showcase my work and reflections about the impact that each of these areas has had on my college education.
